Amtrak train #11, the southbound Coast Starlight, arrives at Jack London Square station, Oakland, running 1.5 hours late on April 5, 2003. This station is very convenient to the restaurants and shopping at JLS and is also served by the Capitol Corridor and San Joaquin trains. Extensive UP track work this winter between Sacramento and Klamath Falls has caused
extensive delays to trains 11/14, which were originally scheduled for detour over the ex-WP Feather River route.
