"Transit Villages" are becomming more and more popular in large metropolitan areas served by commuter rail and light rail; but here is one in the small Central Coast town of Grover Beach. The Grover Beach station (right) is a short walk to Pismo State Beach, and the Station Grill is right across the tracks from the platform. Behind the restaurant are local businesses and residences. Train 774 has arrivedat the station only five minutes late and will board 35 southbound passengers.
