This is a late August view of the Sacramento RT extension of Light Rail service directly into the Sacramento Valley Station. This light rail service opening later this year will give cross-platform convenience with the growing number of passenger trains, including the Capitol Corridor, San Joaquins, San Francisco Zephyr and Coast Starlight. It also will be a short walk from Old Sacramento and the California State Railroad Museum.
