I am writing on behalf of members of the Rail Passenger Association of California and Nevada (RailPAC) living, working and traveling in the greater Sacramento and Bay Area of California. RailPAC is an all-volunteer statewide organization advocating for improvement of commuter and intercity passenger rail service and for expanded public transportation in California and Nevada.

RailPAC fully supports Capitol Corridor’s Sacramento to Roseville Third Main Track
Project, SCH number 20L4072O05, which will give the needed capacity to increase
passenger train service between Roseville and Sacramento, Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose and intermediate cities. We also support the Supplemental Environmental lmpact Report, dated June 28, 2023, covering relatively minor changes to the project design.
