This is the newly opened Capitol Corridor rail/bus station in Auburn, serving this historic Sierra foothills city and its growing surrounding area. This February 5 photo is a view looking toward the station from the full parking lot, which fills by the departuretime for train #527at 6:35 AM (8:05 SSH). Currently only one trainround trip each day serves this station, but there are plans for a second train as soon as financing can be arranged and the UP does some track and cross-over work.
