Alstom shelves hydrogen development

ALSTOM has confirmed that development of hydrogen-powered trains has been “put on hold” due to the withdrawal of state funding, while the company’s CEO, Henri Poupart-Lafarge, says that hydrogen technology is “not yet mature.”
