Caltrain’s "baby bullet" limited stop commuter service began to great success on June 7 between San Jose and San Francisco with 5 daily round trips. This is one of the three trainsets using bi-level cars similar to those used by Metrolink, The Coaster, ACE, and Seattle Sounder. It is waiting on Track 2 for the first afternoon northbound departure from San Jose’s Diridon station. More pictures appear in the current issue of the Western Rail Passenger Review, to be delivered to members this month.
